We are "Dunamis" servants of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has giving us power to GO and obey the "Great Commission"

As we support, encourage, pray for one another and study God's Word together, we will be equipped to reach others for Christ.

Pour yourself a steaming cup of coffee...have a seat in a confortable chair...open your Bible and lets study God's Word together.

Let's see what He has for us today.

A Mother's Prayer

"Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains! For the Lord comforts His people and will have compassion on His afflicted one." It's a cool, cloudy, but beautiful Sunday morning. My husband went to church but I felt I need to spend time with the Lord alone at home. There are many burdens on my heart and I feel I need to pray and receive Godly wisdom. As I look back on my life I feel I failed as a single Christian mother, raising my children. I have asked God and them to forgive me but I need to forgive myself. They are well established adults yet how my heart longs to see them serving the Lord with all their heart and soul; raising their children in the knowledge, truth and love of God. I never knew how hard it would be to talk to my adult children about the things of God. I am able to talk to strangers easier than my 5 beautiful children. Now I have grandchildren that are turning into adults and they too are hard to reach. So, I pray. "Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you as a fellow parent, knowing that you understand how my heart breaks for my children's situation and salvation. Time on this earth is short and Your return is soon. I pray that You will move in their lives with conviction and they will return to You. I am praying now for Your help and hope to be reborn in all us as I pray the words of Isaiah over them. "In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritance, to say to the captives. "Come out," and to those in darkness, "Be free!". I claim this prayer time as the day of favor for my children. I thank You that You have promised to help us. I thank You that You have promised to restore the lost and broken parts. I thank You that You promise that You will set them free. "They will feed beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill. They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat upon them. He who has compassion will guide them and lead them besides springs of water. I will turn all my mountains into roads and my highways will be raised up. See, they will come from afar - some from the north, some from the west, some from the region of Aswan." I thank You and ask You Lord, that You provide for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of my children today. I thank You that You feel deep compassion for them, that You want to see them well and whole and joyous and in good relationships with others and with Yourself; that You know the things that break my heart and concern me about them. I pray that You will guide my children to the help they need. I pray that You will give them rest and give them the strength for the journey back to stability with You. I praise you now for the comfort You are bringing me; that You are with us all and that You care deeply. Dear Father, help my children to not feel alone and forgotten. That they know You are always with them...believing in them...loving them and that I love them too. Help them turn to You that they may be healed and helped. Help them to know the deep love I have for them as a parent. I ask for your guidance on how to express my deep love for them in ways that they will accept and understand. I lift my eyes toward You, believing that You are at work in so many ways and knowing that I will soon see Your answers to my prayers. You, working in their lives. I thank You for the gathering "back in" of my children to You and to our family. May our family's beautiful love and joy brought together by Your love and faithfulness together be apparent for all to see. I pray in the strong and loving name of Jesus Christ. Amen
