THE PROMISE TO HEAL OUR HURTS:
Tamar, the daughter of King David, was raped by her half brother Amnon. Experiences like Tamar's can damage a woman for the rest of her life. Even though help is available for those of us who have suffered abuse in one way or another, the deepest healing comes when we experience the love and acceptance God so willingly has for us. His comforting Holy Spirit can be a soothing peaceful healing as, in time, we began to forgive those that so grievously wronged us. This is the beginning of our recovery.
