As I see the declining of our "Christian Nation", in references to the National Christmas tree, our leaders compromising to be "politically correct", my heart is stirred within me. There are several scripture that come to mind. 1) Titus 1:16..They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate." 2) Matthew 21,23...[Jesus speaking] Not ever one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me ye that work iniquity. Leaving Christ out of Christmas is a form of denying Him. America has been the light of Christ to the world. If we put the light under a "bushel" (Matt: 5:13-16) of "political correctness", that Light will be given to another to shine and America will turn dark if not for the grace of God and His faithfulness to His believers. We as believers must pray fervently. Stand against the forces of darkness that is trying to take over our nation and leaders. The Lord reminded me of another scripture: Revelation 22:1-2...And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. My prayer today and every day. "Oh Father God, first I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and secondly I ask you to let one little leaf to fall from heaven onto our nation, America. We need your healing. Lord, please send us Godly, righteous leaders. Drive back the spirit of darkness and anti-christ out of our country. Pour out your Holy Spirit to bring a cleansing and healing. Have mercy on us. Forgive us and save us; withhold the wrath and destruction and show your mercy that we may praise You and show your mercy and love to all the nations. Thank You Father. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen."
