The Violence takes it By Force
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1
Faith is what pleases God. - Heb 11:6
"For God hast not given us a spirit of fear: but of a power, and of love, and of a sound mind."- 2 Timothy 1:7
Christ has given us this power, love and a sound mind not for our works but for His purpose. We must remember: all that we do, all that we accomplish is for His purpose and glory.
We cannot and must not let fear, unbelief and doubt enter into any part of what we have and will set out to accomplish for Him; to promote His love and His kingdom.
When we were baptised in the Holy Ghost, He gave us power and boldness to access the faith we need to take, with confidence, the kingdom of God; stepping out in faith to accomplish, what we know and feel, what the Lord has called or instructed us to do for Him; to spread the gospel, to spread His great love and plan for salvation. Paul, Peter and Stephen are just a few examples of this teaching.
In Matthew 1:12, Jesus speaks of how the kingdom of heaven sufferers violence. Yet, He tells us "the violent takes it by force".
This violence denotes strength, vigor with an earnest desire and endeavours. It shows what fervency and zeal are required of all those who design to finish their race as Paul talked about.
We who enter into the kingdom must strive to enter; knowing that the kingdom suffers a holy violence. We must run, and wrestle, and fight and be in agony deep in our spirits with a humble heart to win such a prize. We must overcome opposition from without and within; to take the authority the Lord has given us putting it in use; the power He gave us over fear, unbelief and even the powers and principalities of the air; to move forward in the Holy Ghost, putting a stop to the wiles of the devil that are coming against us to stop the progress of reaching and teaching souls for Christ.
By faith and boldness, with Holy violence we must "take the land", overtake our dreams and assignments that we have received from the Lord (for His purpose); to run ahead of the devil. We must take them by force. Setting our face like "flint"; disregarding our past failures, our natural ageing bodies and minds. Let us move on with confidence and with a holy contention, thrusting ourselves into it!
BE BOLD - BE STRONG - THE LORD OUR GOD IS WITH US
We are "Dunamis" servants of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has giving us power to GO and obey the "Great Commission"
As we support, encourage, pray for one another and study God's Word together, we will be equipped to reach others for Christ.
Pour yourself a steaming cup of coffee...have a seat in a confortable chair...open your Bible and lets study God's Word together.
Let's see what He has for us today.
