Jerusalem...Jerusalem...the city of our God! As we read and study Joshua we learn that Jerusalem was founded in peace. There were wars but the ultimate goal of God was peace. Psalm 122:6 King David asks us (with a promise) to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and ye shall prosper. Read Psalm 122 and you will feel the love and passion King David has for Jerusalem. Now, Apostle Paul teaches, by being an example, in Romans 10:1 "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved. (verse4) - "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth."...PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM...PRAY FOR THE SALVATION OF ISRAEL...GOD'S CITY...GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE...THIS IS GOD'S WILL AND HE WILL PROSPER THOSE WHO LOVE YOU, O JERUSALEM.
